its not. sprint, maxed out, has a running time of 14 seconds, with a recharge of 20. Charge, maxed out, has a running time of 11 seconds, also with a recharge of 20 (attributes on strength 14, tactics on 13). They overlap each other, and if you have both, you can just keep spamming between the two. I can run anywhere with these two skills alone, and I never have a period that I am moving slow (unless I get hit with crippled, then I just use purge conditions).

Rush is overlooked and underrated.
True Sprint and Charge can keep you running the whole time, and there doesnt have to be enemies around.
This can stay up 100% of the time by itself (can really do it if To The Limit is added) - Opening your Elite slot for actual fighting skills. Its better suited if you aren't going to be running 100% of the time , like in PvP.

I can't believe people say rush is bad.
I keep my strength up at 13 in pvp most of the time. Because Rush has an adrenaline cost of 4, i can pretty much always keep rush up, allowing me to catch up to kiting casters and bull's strike them to the ground.
i'll pass on sprint, and save my precious energy for something better (like bull's strike)

Depends on the build. Use rush as a back up when i am using other nrg heavy skills. In addition, i usually have 16 in the weapon attribute, and 13 in strength, which gives rush a good long lasting time. Combine with shock and frenzy ur guarenteed to get rush charged when they come up from KD, and then if they decide to move, u rush them.

On a Warrior that is already fairly energy intensive (talking PvP here) Rush is awesome. It is a bit of a pain that you can't just fire it up straight away like sprint, but in the long run (lolx) it will make your life a lot easier.

Well previously it was a bit of an underground thing, using rush. ALL the hep cats used sprint, so you HAD to or you were OBVIOUSLY a noob. Guess people have started noticing that the crowd isnt always right.

It's also a good choice when you're looking for something to cancel Frenzy and don't want to wait 20 seconds for sprint to come back.
With high enough strength, ~9-10, you'll have plenty of time to get it charged back up before it ends, especially considering that while it's up you'll have a better chance of hitting your targets because you're running faster than them.

been using rush for a pretty long time now (i run hammer warrior) simply cause my hammer build needs all the energy for the regular attack chains, so using rush enabled me to speedboost without RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing up my nrg balance
